Entry into force of the Apostille Convention - Mutual recognition of public documents between Paraguay and Germany

The Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Paraguay in Berlin and the Consulate General of the Republic of Paraguay in Frankfurt am Main announce that the 'Agreement of 5 October 1961 on the exemption of foreign public documents from legalisation' between Paraguay and Germany has entered into force with effect from 6 January 2022.

This agreement abolishes the requirement of diplomatic or consular legalisation for foreign public documents.

Public documents from Paraguay:
