Paraguay's Consular Days in Germany: strengthening ties with the community
1 December 2025

During the second half of 2025, the Embassy of Paraguay in Germany held a series of "Consular Days", aimed at making consular procedures and services more accessible to Paraguayan nationals, strengthening proximity with the community and providing more efficient and accessible service.
These days were held at the Embassy's premises in Berlin on Saturdays, on a monthly basis, allowing service to citizens who, for work or distance reasons, cannot complete their procedures on weekdays. Across the various editions, services included passport renewal and issuance, RUEX registration, electoral registration, issuance of consular certificates and guidance on administrative procedures, helping to guarantee the full exercise of rights for Paraguayans living in Germany.
The consular team has worked steadily to optimise service times, improve communication channels and strengthen service quality. This effort reflects the Embassy's commitment to offering a citizen service tailored to the real needs of the community, which is often spread across different regions of the country.
In light of the positive results, the Embassy plans to continue organising these days throughout next year, consolidating them as a regular public-service practice and a direct link to the Paraguayan community in Germany.
